Creating the Pieces of The Hukill Puzzle

What started out as a vision for a small family blog has morphed into something much larger, and into our 2008 Christmas gift to the entire Hukill Family.

Think of this…

How cool would it be to have one place for us all to share what’s happening in our lives, and to share our hopes, dreams, ideas, plans, thoughts, etc?

How remarkable would it be to have a running journal of each member of our family, for our children, friends, future kids, grandkids, and spouses to not only learn about our past, but experience it through time-stamped record, photos, videos, and any other great tools that technology brings us?

How rewarding would it be for each of our younger family members to share their thoughts while learning to compose their own blog posts, as they grow through the encouragement of all generations of our family?

And, most importantly, how much stronger could it make our relationships as we share more of the ins & outs of our lives together through this medium?  We’re all so busy these days that we often have no time left to share our day-to-day growth, celebrations and failures, but what if we did?

This blog is our (Ryan & Brooke’s) gift to all of our family, present and future, and our hope is that each member of the family will contribute – big or small – at least once a month, and more often when you feel compelled to do so.  There is no cost involved for you to share – only a small investment of time that will stand for years, and maybe generations to come, as a testament of who we are now and how we get to where we’re going.  Help us all remember!
